In our sessions I listen genuinely and fully to your concerns, to your needs, and to what is troubling and bothering you. I help create a safe, caring, and nurturing space that allows you to feel supported and comfortable. When meeting with you I provide an accepting and nonjudgmental environment where we work together to help you. Within this empathic container you are more able to talk about and to become aware of your core feelings and thoughts.
Psychotherapy is a process of joint discovery.
Working together, I can assist you to:
-
get unstuck and move on
-
expand your options and choices
-
learn more about yourself, who you are, what you believe
-
gain clarity about what you really want and need
-
discover what is nourishing for you
-
listen to yourself
-
regain a sense of balance, calmness, focus
-
foster inner healing
-
feel more hopeful
- improve the quality of your sleep
-
be more accepting of yourself and others
-
enhance the way you relate with others
For individual adults and adolescents I use a therapeutic approach known as Experiential Psychotherapy. Through my experience with clients, I have found this model to be potentially powerful and transformative.
